Who deserves to lead the Philippines?

Caloocan City Rep. Edgar Erice is not withdrawing even without an established support from MalacaƱang and its allies in Congress.

Edgar Erice is the chief proponent of political Charter change and he is a Liberal Party stalwart, now he is pushing for a resolution for amending the political provisions of the Constitution.

Erice said in an interview that it will really push through next week.

He states that it is time to discuss the need to amend the political provisions of the Constitution especially on the lifting of terms of elective positions.

While the palace is giving contradicting statements on President Benigno Aquino 's real stand the Cha-cha even after he expressed his agreement with the idea of term extension.

Erice said he believes that President Aquino deserves another term so he can continue enforcing reforms in the government.

He(Erice) would like to pursue a discussion and debate on possible reforms and amendment in the political provisions of the Constitution.

According to his statement, the issue of lifting term limits has to be in Congress through discussions and debates in the plenary.

Senator Franklin Drilon announced earlier that the Liberal Party officials and members will meet to discuss the issue on Cha-cha.

Budget Secretary Abad said that there is a need for the ruling party to meet with the President to clarify his position on Charter change. He(Abad) is another stalwart of the party(Liberal).

Abad has said the LP has to be ready to follow the President’s position on the issue which has reportedly divided the party amid Speaker Feliciano Belmonte’s opposition to Erice’s proposal.

In reports, Erice’s resolution set to be filed next week, the terms of the President and Vice President will come through four years with one re-election.

What will happen if President Aquino will be re-elected despite of being not allowed to?

What if they just give chance to others who are more deserving to lead the Philippines?

Why PNoy's intention of running again to be the president for another six years is ridiculous. Just saying a few reasons why:

Daang Matuwid did not materialized.

It did not brought anything good to us and our country. It brought corruption in the government. Politicians became rich. Is that a daang matuwid?

Power for corruption.

He had someone in power controlling everything and then the media was censored. A manipulation from the dictator, was only the source of information. People were afraid of those in power. Corruption in the government were hidden. They are using the National Treasury as their personal investment.

Slower Poverty Reduction.

They are the wealthy celebrities. They lie and embracing their oppressors - they cannot see that. They blocked plenty of academics and community activists who could serve as public servants. Their idea demonstrates how brain washed the ordinary person is.

Poor Governance.

Things will never change, they would be better off with a different type of leadership. Someone needs to convince them.

If you can still remember, presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said before that the unemployment rate increased in the last quarter because of the calamities that hit the country.

The good plans are always announced but will just remain plans.

Give chance to others who are more deserving to lead the Philippines.

He tries to destroy our country and our people with all the unacceptable examples!

He commands the destruction of the Supreme Court!

He tries to divide and conquer/rule the people!
