PNoy vs Supreme Court

Of all the issues President Aquino has encountered in his term this must be the most hard-hitting.

The Supreme Court declared DAP unconstitutional but President Aquino filed a motion of reconsideration, he says it is under the law but then he got rejected.

He then continued to defend DAP in spite of the court ruling.

Respected personalities say he seems like trashing the constitution and wants presidential autocracy.
While he was defending DAP, President Aquino appears that he is above the law and his clan is benefitting from DAP.

Aquino uses DAP funds to overcompensate him and his relatives — contrary to the amount ordered for compensation by the court.
Different groups describe his statement as ‘Palusot’ resulting activist group Bayanmuna to endorse the possibility of PNoy's impeachment. This also burst Anti pork groups who participated during the Million People March

What do you think about DAP?
Is it just an Aquino government’ s version of the pork barrel?
The illegal use of savings furthermore sends an image of corruption and bad governance.
Aquino's SONA is scheduled on July 28, 2014 at the House of Representatives' complex in Quezon City.
He is expected to report his administration’s accomplishments in the past year and his plans for the coming year.
What do you think are his achievements as the president of our country and how about his non-achievements?
Aquino is always giving out motherhood statements.

He’s trying to divert the attention away from his own shortfalls.
The Philippines may have advanced in his regime but the improvements are not based on his accomplishments but the previous administration's

In this period, only the rich got richer and the big businesses benefit from the so-called national "growth."

On July 14, President Aquino speak up on the issue, he says DAP is completely different from PDAF

May mga nagsasabi rin po na pareho lang ang DAP sa PDAF. Excuse me.

The President and his Government

The president can realign the budget anytime of the year, from projects approved by Congress, to projects and budgetary items not found in the GAA approved by Congress, the President has practically castrated Congress of its power to appropriate funds.

The President in essence, drafts the budget, approves the budget and implements the budget, a form of budgetary dictatorship that is not only a source of graft and corruption but also patronage politics.

Pulse Asia survey shows that Filipinos trusted and approved of Vice President Jejomar Binay more than President Aquino.

Based on the survey taken from December 8 to 15, 2013, Aquino and Binay obtained majority approval ratings.

Aquino's approval rating, however, went down from 79 in September 2013 to 73 in December 2013, while his trust rating also went down from 76 to 74.

He also emphasise that corruption was endemic in the budgeting system of the past. In his speech he adds:

Aquino is always giving out motherhood statements. President Aquino recently suffered a big drop in Pulse Asia Survey.

He’s trying to divert the attention away from his own shortfalls. The Philippines may have advanced in his regime but the improvements are not based on his accomplishments but the previous administration's.

He is scheduled to deliver his state of nation address on July 28, 2014 at the House of Representatives' complex in Quezon City.

In SONA, he is expected to report his administration’s accomplishments in the past year and his plans for the coming year. What are his achievements / non-achievements?

At this point in time what do you think must he do? Because in this period, only the rich got richer and the big businesses benefit from the so-called national "growth."

What can we expect on the Upcoming SONA 2014?

Eid’l Fitr on July 29

President Aquino declares observance of Eid’l Fitr on July 29 a regular holiday

In observance of this year’s Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadhan, President Benigno S. Aquino III declared July 29 (Tuesday) a regular holiday throughout the country.

President Aquino signed Proclamation 826 last July 10 to bring the religious and cultural significance of Eid’l Fitr, the first day marking the end of the 30-day fasting period of Muslims, to the fore of national consciousness.

“To promote cultural understanding and integration, the entire Filipino nation should have the full opportunity to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in the observance and celebration of Eid’l Fitr,” President Aquino said in the proclamation.

Eid’l Fitr, an Arabic word which means “festival of breaking of the fast,” is an important holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide for three days after the end of Ramadhan, or the Islamic holy month of fasting.

The occasion has always been recognized by the Philippine government by virtue of Republic Act No. 9177, enacted by the 12th Congress in 2002, in deference to the Filipino Muslim community and to promote peace and harmony among major religions in the country.
